To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
Being part of the apprenticeship programme at Christie’s has been such a privilege. Colleagues have become friends for life and I have enough memories of fabulous events and exhibitions to last a lifetime. Thank you Christie’s for such a special opportunity to kick-start my career.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Christie’s provided me with such a brilliant space to develop new and existing skills, surrounded by the support of kind and encouraging colleagues. I didn’t know anything about managing events before starting my apprenticeship and feel really proud of the skills I developed during this time. Shadowing opportunities across different departments are aplenty and there are regular opportunities to get involved in Learning & Development workshops.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
Christie’s apprentices are fully-supported by the HR team from start to finish of their programme. They are welcomed into the same opportunities as permanent staff and have so much on offer to explore during their programme. It’s all there for the taking!
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
Christie’s have gone above and beyond to support me as an apprentice over the last few years. Thank you for everything!
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
As a higher-level apprentice my course was mostly self-directed. I was connected with a coach from my study provider, who I checked in with on a 4-6 week basis. If I needed support on my assignments I reached out to arrange a call with my coach.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
My project management qualification gave me the skills to make advanced suggestions and improvements to my department. The skills are very transferrable and make a great addition to my CV.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Christie’s has such a wonderful ability to create a community feel amongst its employees. They do this by offering a huge range of enjoyable opportunities including staff quizzes, wine tasting nights, life drawing classes, Christie’s Run Club, Christie’s Lates, Icy Thursdays (ice cream on the roof terrace) and Summer & Winter all-staff parties. Not to mention the apprentice-specific activities which included regular drinks and activities to help the cohort connect and get to know each other. So much fun to be added to the apprenticeship experience.
