Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Conducting investigations around transactions. Assisting with inbox queries from other departments and working alongside specialists in each subject area to learn how to deal with different situations.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I thoroughly enjoy my programme at Christie's. I have been offered so many opportunities since joining the business and being able to learn such specialized skills on the job is extremely helpful for development within my role.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learned how to draft professional emails, manage legal queries as well as, working under pressure during intense sale seasons. I have also developed knowledge of the corporate world through the wide opportunity of networking events offered.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme is very well structured, I have frequent workshops to schedule my learning with the pace of my job. I am also offered lots of support from my team/manager to keep me on track.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive lots of support from my manager offering me the time I need as well as scheduling 1-2-1 meetings to assist with my projects and support me with any struggles in my role as I begin to take on more challenging tasks.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Frequent workshops, 1-2-1's and quaterly reviews with my tutor offer lots of support. There is also a lot of flexibility as well as great communication from tutors to give any extra support needed.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My course fits very well into my role, so I feel that the knowledge learned in workshops assist me within my day to day. Also, my on the job activities put my knowledge to use whilst teaching me more about the compliance world.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, we have many networking opportunities such as 501 drinks and run clubs.

Why?
Christie's is so unique and supportive. It offers may opportunities for many different skill sets and interests with the rapidly changing art environment. It also allows you to build working relationships as well as your knowledge of the workplace which I have found extremely helpful.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Christie's?
Be yourself and be confident. Everyone wants to see you do well at Christie's so don't be afraid to put yourself out there as we want to get to know you and see you do your very best.
