Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

4 days in a nursery 1 at the apprentice academy.
I support staff and children through the day joining play and setting up play for the children
supporting lunch and tea and nappy change
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy it a lot as the staff are extremely welcoming and make you feel super comfortable and at home.
They are amazing at making it fun all projects are enjoyable and you are able to be creative.
The environment is peaceful and you are able to be yourself and not be judged.

It is structured well and easy to understand
How much support do you receive from your employer?

All the support they can give I feel extremely confident going to my manager to ask for help even on weekends I can text and get help
my manager will sit with me for hours going over stuff to make sure I fully understand
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Not as much as I do my manager as there are a lot of us in the cohort so it is sometimes hard for my tutor to help me sometimes when I ask for help she says she can't right now, or its a brief explanation.
I can trust the other staff at the academy for help
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I have a better ands deeper understanding of my role and I know the I pittance of the policies and I know how our company works better and how to follow our guidelines.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There is a online season done weekly by Gary to go over different things within leyf. you are able to ask your manager to join them if it is something your interested in also first aid training.

As personally I have had a really great experience at my nursery and training and I would love for my friends to have the same or similar experience.

check out the leyf website to have a better understanding of the company and what their work is.
be prepared to work hard and understand that it isn't an easy job so if your not going to take it seriously don't do it.
