During my weeks work experiance at The AA breakdown service call centre in Oldbury, I had the opportunity to work across various departments, gaining valuable insight into different aspects of the operation. I want to express my gratitude to my host, Kirstie Reeves, for her support and guidance throughout the week. Her efforts ensured that I got the most out of my experience and had the opportunity to learn and contribute effectively. I'm grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of the team.

I really enjoyed my week of work experience at The AA. The opportunity to immerse in various departments and tasks provided me with a well-rounded experience that was both engaging and educational. Additionally, the support and guidance from my host ensured that I got the most out of the experience, it was a really enjoyable week that left me with valuable insights and skills for the future.
How well organised was your work experience?

The agenda for the week was great. Each day was carefully planned to provide me with exposure to different departments and tasks within The AA breakdown. From shadowing customer service representatives to participating in team meetings, every activity was thoughtfully scheduled to maximize my learning experience. Additionally, the agenda allowed for flexibility, ensuring that I had the opportunity to explore areas of interest and receive personalized guidance from my host, I even helped with a fund raising event. the agenda contributed to a productive and fulfilling week of work experience.
How much did your work experience help you in deciding on your future career path?

I learned about the company's history, values, and mission, as well as its commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Through interactions with employees and firsthand experiences, I got a sense of the collaborative and supportive culture that permeates the workplace. Additionally, observing daily operations and participating in various tasks gave me a realistic understanding of what it would be like to work there.
Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees?

Yes, endless opportunities. I meet loads of difrent people in diffrent departments and they were all really nice.

Go for it, you will learn loads and meet so many amazing people, it was great to have this opportunity as my first taste of what working for a large trusted brand, and i am really greatful for that. Hope to see you all again soon thank you.
