Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
As a Road Operations Supply Coordinator, my responsibilities involve coordinating the supply of tools, equipment and uniforms for Road Operations. On a day-to-day basis, my role involves inventory management, order processing, supplier management, quality control and record keeping.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I've thoroughly enjoy my Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship as a Road Operations Supply Coordinator. The opportunity to apply my skills in a real-world setting, learn from experienced professionals, and contribute to the smooth operation of Road Operations has been incredibly fulfilling and rewarding.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have enhanced my organisational and communication skills. I've also developed my problem-solving abilities and attention to detail through managing inventory, coordinating orders and communicating with suppliers and stakeholders.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
The structure of my apprenticeship programme has been somewhat disrupted due to the requirement to complete Level 2 Maths before proceeding to the end-point assessment. This intermittent nature has affected the continuity and organisation of the programme at times.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I recieve excellent support from my Line Manager, and team. They provide guidance, training opportunities, and mentorship to help me succeed in my role and develop my skills effectively.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
My training provider has offered support throughout my apprenticeship, but there have been challenges. For instance, a requirement to complete Level 2 Maths before the End-Point Assessment was not communicated upfront, disrupting the program. Additionally, the provider couldn't offer face-to-face exam conditions or adequate virtual tools support, leading me to arrange the exam independently to fulfill the Maths requirement.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
My Level 3 Business Administration qualification has significantly enhanced my performance as a Road Operations Supply Coordinator. The knowledge and skills gained through the programme have equipped me to handle tasks more effectively, communicate with stakeholders more proficiently, and manage supply chain operations with greater efficiency and accuracy.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
There are various extracurricular activaties available that I have been invovled in. These have been professional development workshops, team-building events and the opportunity to utilise programmes like LinkedIn Learning. Participating in these activaties can help foster a sense of community, enhance skills, and promote work-life balance.
