Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role is ensure that customers are provided with the best possible Customer Experience and outcome with their breakdown experience. This involves providing support and Coaching to my colleagues and also delivering resolutions myself to improve processes.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the programme and the learning content has been very useful and I am able to apply the knowledge in my day-to-day role.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learned how to develop my Emotional Intelligence and use my experience to be patient and help others with their Personal Development when setting goals and objectives

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme is well structured in terms of content, webinars and group workshops. I do struggle with learning alone and require support which is available through a mentor
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer and line manager are supportive and allow the off-the-job learning in order to get my learning hours in
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

It is a remote course and the learning content is all online on a virtual platform. I am on getting on okay with the learning, I mentioned that I do struggle with individual learning and require extra support from my mentor
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I am able to think differently and apply different models and techniques to my way of working
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

The AA is a great place to work and there are a variety of different roles you can try out with lots of support. There are apprenticeship programmes to help with learning and improving skills, wellbeing services and a lot of benefit packages to help you both inside and outside work
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to The AA?
Be yourself and prepare as much as possible, do your research on the Company's ethos, history and its future purpose and core values
