My role involves the setting and running of low volume CNC machines, I’m trusted to write and check programmes jobs and alter according, ensuring quality is of the highest level.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my apprenticeship programme throughly and look forward to the tasks each day holds, I also enjoy being able to learn so much!

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt multiple new things such as the basics such as new measuring equipment, new ‘engineering terms’ to more advanced skills such as being able to programme CNC machines from just a drawing.

Programme is organised well and is clear from the start. And if help was ever needed it was there.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Most of the support I get from my employer, I fully know that if a situation were to occur in which I have any type of issue there is also someone to turn to for help.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider offers a variety of help and helped me achieve the goals I set myself.
