Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Changes on a day to day basis. Working closely with my appointed FLM and supporting where ever I can.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
My programme is challenging and engaging allowing me to operate to the furthest extent of my abilities. Having the opportunities I've had has made it more enjoyable.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Learnt Excel skills, how to prioritise, how to manage my time. Developed my networking skills, confidence speaking in front of crowds/presenting, and all my basic skills have been developed.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
At the beginning it was a challenge to get an organised programme in place as we were the first apprentices within the team, now that I have been in the team for over a year the structure of the programme has become much better
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
I receive as much support as I wish, my line manager has made it clear that they are available if I ever need anything. Likewise with the wider team and other apprentices. University has also provided sufficient support with assignments and now trying to help with my EPA.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
ARU has provided support sessions online and in person to give me as much support as possible. Lecturers respond quickly to any questions that I've emailed. Feedback on assignments could be a tad better as the feedback seems to be generalised.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
As my qualification is around house building it is hard to relate most of the material to the workplace. Certain modules have been more relatable than others.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
We have multiple communities for apprentices, Young Professional Networks and Professional Apprentice Community are the two that I'm involved in. AW and ARU both have sport teams available for apprentices but I don't take part.
