Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
In order to help the firm streamline its supply chains and other operations, it is my role. I use my knowledge of supply chain management to analyse how well a company's logistics processes are working. I look for places where things can be improved, such lowering costs, increasing productivity, or raising customer satisfaction. I use data analytics to track and assess a company's supply chain performance. This helps by highlighting regions that could present risks, such as those related to delays, shortages, or damage.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
Since my job is challenging and gratifying, I like it. I value working together with other companies to improve their supply chains. Additionally, I appreciate the variety of projects I get to work on since it keeps my job interesting. I love logistics and am always looking for new ways to make supply chains better.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Yes, working as a logistics consultant has provided me the chance to grow and learn new skills. I now know how to use data analytics technology to monitor and evaluate the performance of the supply chain. This has made it easier for me to pinpoint problem areas and opportunities for improvement. I now know how to properly plan out and complete assignments. This has facilitated my ability to carry out my supply chain optimisation strategies.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
I have a well-structured and prepared curriculum for my logistics consultant position. My ability to learn about a variety of logistics-related topics, such as supply chain management, transportation, warehousing, and inventory management, is made possible by the course material. In addition, working on projects with actual firms gives me the chance to gain practical experience.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
As a Logistics Consultant, my employer offers me a lot of assistance. I have a senior logistics expert mentor that I can go to for assistance and pointers. I can collaborate on projects with a group of additional logistics experts that I have access to. I also have access to a variety of resources through my job, such as software tools, industry periodicals, and online databases. This enables me to stay up to date with the most recent developments in logistics and find answers to the issues I encounter.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
I receive a lot of assistance from my training organisation while I pursue my qualifications as a logistics consultant. They provide me with access to a variety of resources, such as textbooks, online learning environments, and business professionals. They also give me the ability to network with other students and industry experts.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
Because of my training providers credentials, I am able to work as a logistics consultant more effectively. First and foremost, the degree has given me a firm foundation in logistics theory. I can identify company difficulties thanks to my knowledge and develop practical, cost-effective solutions. I've had the chance to gain actual logistics experience thanks to the certificate. These skills include project management, issue solving, and data analysis. These abilities assist me in my role as a logistics consultant in problem-solving, project management, and data analysis.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Yes, I am able to take part in a range of extracurricular activities as a logistics consultant. My workplace hosts a range of social events all through the year, including happy hours, potluck meals, and team-building activities. I can develop relationships with my coworkers through these events and get to know them better. Basketball, soccer and softball are just a few of the sports teams that are part of my organisation. These teams give me a great opportunity to stay active and socialise with my coworkers.
