Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
i am a project manager, workinging within our people lab. managing any change initivitve within the company, dealing with a range of stakeholder and ensuring that the project remains within timescales and budget requirements. ensuring all regulatory paperwork is completed in a timely fashion. I will ensure all SME's complete tasks within the agreed time scales
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
i have really enjoyed completing this programme, it has taught me alot around my own capabilities and how to ensure that i prioritise my tasks to ensure that i give maximum efficency to my work load, ensuring that i am aware of the demands of the job at task and fulfill all requirements

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
whilst completeing this course i have learnt a range of new skills, when starting i was completely unaware of the skills required to write an assignemtn to the degree standard, I have learnt about being able to research my topic and write in an independant style whilst using sources as refrence.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
the organisation of the programme has varied considerably from module to module. whilst on paper it should have been well organised there were quite a few problems from the university in the 2nd year causing big set backs and then a huge work load within a small time frame. however overall it has been good.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
3/5
this is an emotive question as I have found that everyoe within my cohort has had very different experiences with this, it ultimatly has come down to your direct line manager, personally \i have been prepared to fight for my rights and time so have ultimatly been well supported, however \i have at times felt that it shouldnt have been such a fight.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
I feel we have received minimal support from the training provider, there has not been much consideration into the individual learning styles of the delegates and there has been very little interaction. most of the learning has been self learning online with very limited lectures from the university itself. knowing other people that are doing similar courses they have far more lectures and support
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
the training and qualification has definatly had a positive impact on my work, it has significantly raised my confidence in my own abilitys and opened my eyes to new ways of thinking and working within the work place. I have certainly tried new approaches and brought new ideas to the table
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
within the group there are certainly opportunitys to get invole in mentoring programms that really o range to meet all interest, I have personally completed a few of the programmes over the years and felt that these have been great for my persoanl development also. we lso have a sports and social club but this is drastically under utilised

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Lloyds Banking Group to a friend?
Yes
Why?
overall the company does offer a competative term for employeement, in recent year there has been a shift in the dependability of the company often making changes to terms of employement and then making another change within a short period of time. i can see that there is an appitite to make tings better but sometimes this isnt always approached in the right way
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Lloyds Banking Group?
if i wer now starting my journey with lloyds banking group the advice i would igve to myself is to go in with my eyes eide open and be prepared to chage the plan in order to maximise what i can get from the company, it is a big organisation with lots to offer if you are prepared to be open and look
