Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
My role is working with one of IBMs partner clients. I am mainly focused around security. I work with the partner as they are a distributer for IBM products.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I really enjoy my programming. IBM treat me as any other employee and were very welcoming. I am treated with respect and I feel very comfortable talking to my colleagues if there is an issue.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Yes I have already learnt so much and not even been with IBM for 6 months yet. During my 1 month induction I completed two courses to help my communication and client conversations skills.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
My programme is structured well in my opinion. We were eased into working slowy which definitly helped with the process.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
At IBM we have a foundation manager as well as a task manager. The foundation manager is there to answer questions on the apprenticeship and make sure your wellbeing is okay.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
We do have a lot of support when it comes to my university, however they do sometimes feel a little unorganised. They make it clear where you can go for help which is the main thing and so far when I ask my lectures for any help they are always keen.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
I think at the moment it doesn't help massively but looking at my future modules it will become very useful. As I am working with security, the cyber security module may begin to come in handy.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
I believe there are however none that I have got involved in. I regularly get emails about some activities however I personally am not to interester in extra curricular.
