Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
My roles also consists of clearly defining problems, so that the business can identify solutions that can be implemented.
Ensuring we remain compliant to business law and governing bodies around the world.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
I enjoy challenges and looking for solutions. Understanding (and seeing) personal and character progression.
The purpose of the programme is to develop the apprentices skills to carry forward into the role itself.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
I have a deeper knowledge of compliance now, understanding why "We say what we do, we do what we say" is so important.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?
We often have feedback sessions to gain a better understanding of struggles and what can be done to improve the programme in the future.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
Feedback / Catch-up sessions often occur to ensure that everything is proceeding at it should be. The business will take on counter-measures to help and support where required. As long as they know about the issue, it will get resolved by the team.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
Support provided revolves around ensuring that I understand the topics and content of the course itself. Also to provide tips on what the End Point Assessment criteria is looking for and how to better prepare yourself to achieve certain grades.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
Other events such as Summer and Christmas parties.
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) events are also conducted with local schools.

Why?
It gives you a chance to work with a great team in the Medical industry.
You have the opportunity to develop your skills, which will remain with you after the apprenticeship is finished.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Siemens Healthineers?
Be confident in yourself and don't be intimidated by the interview process, the interview team just want to know who you are and how you work.
Don't worry about feeling you're not right for the role or 'lack' knowledge / experience, the point and purpose of the apprenticeship programme is to develop you!
