Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My main role is based in Communications and Engagement. As part of this role, I write and coordinate all communications that need sending to colleagues with regards to business updates, as well as planning and running awareness campaigns that fit in with our business agenda.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy all of the learning and workshops as part of the programme.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I really feel that I've learnt new skills and developed existing ones. The main thing for me is the extra confidence that I have and I have really developed my communications skills so I now feel a lot more confident interacting with people at all levels of the business. I've also learnt really great skills like how to write a proposal which I previously had no experience of, but have since used this skill to present a proposal to our MD.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme is really well structured with regular meeting with my skills coach and clear deadlines for when each of my units must be completed.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive lots of support from my employer, from both my manager and also from colleagues who have done the programme before so can offer lots of support and advice if needed.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive lots of support from my training provider as I have a meeting with my skills coach every 6 weeks to check in on how I'm doing and I know I can reach out to her at any time with any questions that I may have.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel like my qualification has really developed me within my role. I have a really great understanding of the function which has helped me work better collaboratively with the wider HR team. I've also learnt so many great skills and so much more knowledge that I've been able to apply to my every day role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We do have company events, HR function events and also team social events, but it would be great to see a wider variety of event available.

I've had such a positive experience with the company so far. I really enjoy my role and feel like my development is so supported.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to CEVA Logistics?
To make sure you're aware of all of the different development opportunities available as CEVA have so many different options available so there will be something for everyone!
