Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Worked for the Real Estate team. Supported junior and senior bankers on a number of tasks, including for both debt and M&A deals. Conducted a lot of research.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, I worked directly for both analysts and senior bankers on a wide range of tasks, thus allowing me to gain experience on many types of deals.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
Yes, I learned a lot about Real Estate finance, as well as Excel and PowerPoint and Bloomberg. The internship as a whole was a rewarding learning experience, not only for hard, technical skills but also soft skills such as behaving in an office environment, building professional relationships and networking.

My team was incredibly helpful and patient. They always took the time to explain to me what each concept meant and what each task required. I felt extremely welcomed and I could not have asked for a better team.

Company Culture
What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The culture at the office is warm and welcoming. As an intern, I was able to meet and network with bankers from all levels of experience. Being able to work in the office was a blessing, as it allowed us intern to immerse ourselves in the action and to experience first hand the work routine of the City. Everyone in the firm was kind and approachable.
