Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
My IBM responsibilities can vary every day as we could be working at any different client at any time in a completely different role, which adds to the challenge and intrigue of taking on such an opportunity.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
With the degree, I am learning a lot about the concepts around being a manager and the theories that individuals work off of to be the best manager they can be - whether that is for a project or a team.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?
How much support do you receive from your employer?
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
Recommendations & Advice
Would you recommend IBM to a friend?
Why?
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to IBM?
If there are any experience days/events held by IBM for students, make every effort to join them as current apprentices will join these to talk about their experiences, give any tips and advice and also answer any questions you may have - which is always very helpful.
