Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

- Research the industries in which our clients operate to support senior bankers’ marketing initiatives
- Provide specified input for company profiles, presentations and other documents
- Provide input and editing of Excel-based models, including application of various valuation techniques
- Support the team in coordinating the transaction process during live transactions
- Attend internal and external calls and meetings as appropriate

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

It varied but as you show that you are competent, they will trust you and rely on you for more things although they may want to take a look before you send anything externally

The culture is really nice, there is a calming but busy atmosphere and everyone is considerate of each other

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I enjoyed it quite a bit. It was definitely challenging and tough at times but the amount learnt in a short period of time is amazing and I feel as if it has put me in a good position for my career as a whole, not just in this industry.
