Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role involved carrying out administrative tasks such as data cleansing and managing the relevant email inboxes for our team. We would also contact customers and dealers via emails, letters and on the phone regarding a customers end of contract/ MOT or early termination of their contract. This would be alongside my college work.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoyed it, Motability were very supportive by arranging extra workshops to help me became better at my role which I really loved . I also felt very supported by the college if I needed anything. I enjoyed the writing tasks I had to do and found the essay questions interesting.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I learnt so much doing the apprenticeship alongside my usual work. The programme really helped me improve my confidence, both in a work environment but also with speaking in a team meeting or doing a presentation in-front of people. It also helped me analyse myself and my behaviour at work which helped me to become better and my rob as well as a team member.

Really well structured, it flowed very well alongside my work tasks and the order of the programme made a lot of sense
How much support do you receive from your employer?

So supportive, there was multiple people I could turn to if I needed something and they were happy to allocate my some time to concentrate on my college work.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Weston College were great, could email my college helper if I needed something and found my sessions with the college very useful.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It honestly really helped- it worked so well alongside me becoming a ‘silver’ advisor in my team. It also gave me the confidence to apply for another role in the same company which I was successful in getting and have just started.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

My work is also putting on workshops. For example this year a lot of helping people to adjust working at home and equality networks etc. Too. The company is also very sociable , putting on events for everyone to be part of throughout the year.
