Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

- Supporting a specific cluster within the sector with different tasks. Inclusive of running projects to provide needed data to the account leads, support on bids and proposals for client work and helping with the acquiring of information on target clients.
- Also, supporting the sector in providing communications such as the newsletter

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was giving a lot of responsibility during my placement. I was running my own projects and being able to find different projects I wanted to be a part of. I was also giving the freedom to complete tasks by myself and develop skills with support being on hand if i needed it.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

I had 3 managers I was working with and some provided more support than others but i did feel as though I had someone a least I could go to about any problems or issues.

The IBM culture is amazing, everyone is extremely nice and willing to support and help you on your journey.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I enjoyed my placement a lot at times it was hard but i pushed through. I do wish it wasn't all online but that was not due IBM but the current life circumstance.
