Facilitating the team in tasks related to deals and pitches.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was given ample responsibility as I was given tasks going into decks for client meetings and projects. I was also given research responsibility going directly to senior bankers/managers.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
Excel: I have improved upon my excel building as I have picked up short cuts from the team and used it more in my daily job
Communication: When given tasks, I had to consistently report to my superiors and update them as well as when having multiple tasks, I had to make sure my superiors know if I had to prioritise another task over the one they had given

What advice would you give to others applying to Rothschild & Co
I would say to go into the internship with an inquisitive mind - show that you have been proactive and are learning about the industry you would like to go into but also show you are willing to learn more from the firm and teams.
