Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
My role was a summer intern in crisis management. I helped with policy wording, endorsements, account tracking. Each day is different but we also had the opportunity to work on a project that helped with the business grow and develop.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Definitely. I was included in ongoing projects and given responsibility that contributed to the team.

The work would entail a lot of data analysis (Microsoft excel). It would definitely involve being confident in speaking to new people and being in new environments.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I really enjoyed my summer internship at Lockton. The programme was structured brilliantly enabling me to have experience in all areas of the business. We were also given the opportunity to work on a project that we were able to present to senior stakeholders on the final week. The skills I gained have definitely been invaluable throughout the programme.
