Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

As an international student, I had a lot of freedom, especially because you couldn't go into the offices. I did around 7-8 hours of work per day at home, working on my own report and research.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I had to be responsible for my own work, but not really for any additional work next to the given project. This was nice because you don't get stressed about unexpected jobs.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

I learned more about business cultures and uses, and also got involved in the youth engineering group. I developed my professional English speaking skills, both on teams and face-to-face.

I got support whenever I wanted, I got answers to my questions through e-mail and teams, as well as regular team calls frequently.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

It was great! Everyone was very friendly and introduced themselves. The one day I could go into the office I was even given a tour of the surrounding area during lunchtime.
