What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was really fascinating to learn about the different banking professions, especially as it was presented by people who were passionate about their work. It was nice to have something concrete to say about investment banking.

Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
I discovered the company from a new angle, both in terms of the different divisions and all the Rothschild initiatives (philanthropy, diversity & inclusion, training programmes). I also met some inspiring people who really made me want to work at Rothschild and who advised me on the next steps in my career. It was also an opportunity to get a real feel for what is expected when you work in investment banking. Finally, I really developed my ability to work in a group as part of the final project.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Rothschild's culture is exceptional. The people are caring and passionate and they are all driven by the desire to create an inclusive and collaborative working atmosphere. In essence, Rothschild is truly involved in its community through numerous initiatives such as tutoring programmes for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds or investing in positive impact projects.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
It was a great experience, full of wonderful encounters, and it reinforced my decision to pursue a career in investment banking. It was also an opportunity to feel empowered as a woman and to gain confidence.

The most important thing is to take an interest and ask questions to get the most out of the experience. It's also crucial to get to know the other participants, because I've met some fantastic people.
