Spring Insight Week Review

Each day at Rothschild & Co involved a mix of activities including insightful speakers, panel discussions, workshops, through which we were able to learn more about the firm’s operations. We worked on an M&A case study that we presented to a senior team and explored the firm’s philanthropy through R&Co4Generations. Opportunities to speak with and shadow Analysts allowed us to gain insights into their personal experiences and respective sectors.

Learning about Rothschild & Co’s different areas like Global Advisory, Five Arrows, and others was insightful. They brought in great speakers who gave us a real feel for the various roles and how each part contributes to the firm’s goals. This gave me a much clearer and deeper understanding of the firm’s operations beyond just reading about them online.

The week greatly enhanced my learning, improving my presentation skills and broadening my insight into various finance career paths. Additionally, engaging in group work during the R&Co4Generations Impact Innovators Challenge in addition to the M&A group project has honed my analytical and communication skills.

Everyone, from analysts to senior staff, was approachable, keen to share their journeys and offer guidance, which created a supportive atmosphere for learning.
