Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Had the opportunity to learn about the different divisions of the firm, network with analyst, participate in case studies and shadow different projects
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
The experience allowed me better understand what a career in investment banking at Rothschilds entails. Talking with analyst and hearing their stories gave me a more realistic image of the role and allowed me to understand how I would fit it. Now I’m confident that I want to pursue a career in this industry at Rothschilds.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
I have improved my networking and business etiquette skills. Additionally, I got to learn more about the technical aspects of the financial industry. I have developed a solid understanding of investment banking and what it entails while also developing some key skills required for the job thanks to all of the practical case studies we worked on.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The company had a very collaborate culture that everyone embraced. Everyone felt comfortable and welcomed, which was surprising for an industry that is notorious for being cold and ruthless.

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
The program covered every aspect about the firm. We learnt not only about the operations of the company but also about the company’s culture, work ethic, and values. Thus, it was very enjoyable to get to learn about Rothschild at a more “personal” level
