Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The second day focused on Markets, featuring a trading simulation and panels covering Research, Sales & Trading, and Structuring. For the Non-Finance cohort, we delved into the basics of Bonds and Equities during a four-hour deep dive session, which proved immensely helpful and enlightening. As finance can be rather daunting, especially for those from non-finance backgrounds, I greatly appreciated this opportunity. The day concluded with an engaging social event at the O2 arena, providing a chance to connect with the diverse cohort hailing from various universities across Europe and the UK.
The third day revolved around Investment Banking, featuring an M&A presentation and several panels with heads of different sectors. It was an incredible experience to listen, learn, and engage with the high caliber of talent within the bank.
The fourth day marked the assessment center, which was not division-specific. It comprised a general interview with feedback provided at the end. I genuinely enjoyed the in-person interview, a rarity since the COVID-19 pandemic. Given my enjoyment of the week, it was valuable to gain deeper insights into working at JPMorgan through the interviewer, who also graciously addressed a range of my questions.
Throughout the program, there were numerous sessions covering the company's culture and the business initiatives that support it. These sessions provided a genuine sense of what JPMorgan stands for and how actively it fosters employee development. They highlighted what sets JPMorgan apart as a premier bank.
In conclusion, the Spring Insight Program was impeccably organized and eventful. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to have participated and wholeheartedly recommend it to any students across the country who are interested in finance.

Skills Development

It also developed my communication and presentation skills through the many presentations I had to make. Also It was really great in developing my networking skills, as I was able to meet a broad range of fellow students along with employees at JPMorgan. There was also a real sense of professionalism which may sound daunting at first but was quite welcoming and good to experience.
