Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I had two roles one when my task manager Bob Booth was in digital transformation where I managed emails organised client meeting put together PowerPoints was IT support for client face meetings and worked with other people in IBM to put proposals together.
When Bob left I took on more of your learning and helped Brett Parker with peoples champion of industrial.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes I feel like there was a lot of responsibility and a lot of me figuring things out at the beginning and my responsibilities increased during my year but ultimately if I needed help there was always people who could support

Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
My excel, PowerPoint and words skills improved a lot and was able to gain more soft skills useful when communicating to clients aswell as a lot of your learning giving me training on topics like blockchain.

I was given the right amount of guidance any questions I had were answered and any tasks given whilst I was given time to figure it out on my own I got any assistance necessary.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The culture at IBM is amazing the support and understanding with any issues was great and there was a lot of other interns that help each other creating a great atmosphere

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I enjoyed it a lot as a Muslim female it was great to see the inclusivity of prayer room and other female or cultural socials that were relatable and allowed me to network however I struggled a little with the amount of drinking socials as a Muslim but other than that it was great
