Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

I worked as a technical sales specialist for IBM Cloud. My role was to work with the sales team and clients to help architect, size and calculate a price for IBM Cloud products.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

As an intern, it wasn't possible to be given my own clients, and as a result, recieve any commision for my work. Apart from that, my actual responsibilities were the same as anybody else (i.e. full time employees) in the team.

Whenever I asked for help, I got it straight away, my colleagues were really helpful.
I like to try to find information on my own first, rather than asking, but whenever I got stuck my team was always there to support me.
