Why Settle, an IT company based in Hamilton, are looking for someone to join their growing team as an IT Apprentice. Why Settle Technology has provided IT Support, Strategy and Cybersecurity to businesses across Central Scotland since 1996 and some of their team members have been with them for 13+ years!

Overview:

Are you looking to kick start a career in IT? The role will involve working on a variety of different IT tasks and full training will be provided to help you settle into the role.If you have a passion and interest in IT then this could be the opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

• Providing remote, telephone & onsite support for client networks & IT issues
• Logging calls on management system
• Administering users to Active Directory
• Administering Office 365
• Setting up PCs
• Network Security (firewalls, WAN, patches etc)
• Occasional weekend and evening work

Desirable skills:

• Passion for IT
• Enthusiasm to learn
• Proactive attitude
• Driving licence is preferred or currently sitting lessons
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong work ethic

Salary:

£21,000 per annum

Working hours:

35 hours per week, 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday
