My role as an apprentice is mainly to assist whoever I am working with whilst also having them teach me the ropes of the trade. I’ll be on different tasks each day and I can guarantee that I would have learnt something new by the end of the day.

I am currently learning how to safely install and test existing/new build work, with a wide variety of work, the job consistently makes you have to think on your feet. Also making you refer back to the methods learnt at college.
