I am currently learning how to safely install and test existing/new build work, with a wide variety of work, the job consistently makes you have to think on your feet. Also making you refer back to the methods learnt at college.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I definitely enjoy the course I am on , especially working for tandem electrical . Tandem have made it really easy for my to progress as fast as I have throughout the time Iv been with them . Almost at the end of the apprenticeship now , and I feel more confident and comfortable as ever within the job

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Testing is something I have always thought I’d struggle on , but as you progress through the apprenticeship, you soon understand methods and the reason why things are done .

It’s a good structure as it’s clearly set out with check points that’s you can feel that you have reached through the 4 year period
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I have received soo much support so far and I am confident in saying I would not be at the stage I am at now without the support of Tandem electrical.

The fact that I can refer back to training at college while at work is great as big jobs that I am trusted with are not as daunting as I’d once find it

Yes , I was allowed to go on an electric vehicle show and learnt a lot while I was there !
