Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

as a 3rd year apprentice i mostly work on my own with support from my supervisor on that day, i do a lot of first fixing and second fixing mostly with someone , then i will do small jobs as and when ive been asked too i.e. putting up and connecting outside light, finishing MVHR units doing ducting from the unit to roof vents and wiring garages.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

im enjoying it very much, i enjoy being very hands on and learning different parts of electrics and what is needed for certain things.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

i have learnt the different types of switches and was is required for them and learned how to do a fuse board. i have learnt the different requirements for first and second fixing.

to begin with my programme wasnt very orginised but now it is going very well, lots of communication from my company to my college.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

i have received loads of support from my employer, they have taken account my struggles and have put things in place for me to be able to push on and improve. i have been listen to and understood which is amazing.

it helps me understand things in more detail, that cant really be explained or shown on site.
