Overview of the Role

Overall, how would you describe your experience at Premier Foods?

I joined premier in September 2026 and recently finished the induction and onboarding process. The induction was a great start to the business, I don't know any other graduate scheme that offers such a comprehensive overview of the business. Over two weeks we were given important insights to each part of the business, took part in interesting and engaging workshop tasks, and travelled around the country to our various manufacturing sites, where we were able to see the scale, growth, and importance of our supply chain. This gave me a great insight into how my job at HQ impacts hundreds of others across the business. It was genuinely exciting and reassuring to see the emphasis Premier Foods put on early talent. On top of this the company pays for all travel, food, and accommodation for the full two weeks, showing their commitment to investing in early talent and making sure we were as comfortable as possible. Speaking to others that have started graduate schemes I consistently say the investment and experience of these first two weeks is far better than any sign on bonus at any company.

What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?

I have only recently started but it seems graduates are given an exciting amount of responsibility, whilst given all the support tools needed to thrive in the role. I feel that I am able to pick up projects across my team in any area that interests me.

To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

It sounds like there will be alot of responsibility on my end, where I am able to manage and own projects in a really exciting FMCG business.

How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?

5/5
Benefits seems great on top of the job, but for me its the investment in the talent such as the induction that really add the value beyond the day to day job.

How well do you feel the role is preparing you for your future career?

5/5
Really well, I can really see myself taking ownership and being given the opportunity to develop my commercial, marketing and people acumen.

How would you rate the extent to which you were developing new or existing skills through formal training and your day-to-day role?
