Overall, how would you describe your experience at Balfour Beatty?
So far, my experience at Balfour Beatty has been outstanding. I understant that the experience may vary depending on the project and team you work within, but my manager has been helpful, provided lots of guidance, and has pushed me to take as many opportunities as possible.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
The main responsibilities include arranging meetings to discuss designs/models, discuss clashes and interfaces as well as some including how we track metrics using dashboards and creating a few designs. I enjoy using CAD software to create drawings for temporary works items as well as discussing innovative methods of construction used on project and within the wider organisation.

Why?
The grad scheme is very well thought out and provides several opportunities to talk to people in a similar age group as well as learn about different parts of the company. As it is so large, it is often hard to learn about what is going on at the other end of the country, but updates from fellow graduates are nice.
