Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I started as a trainee Quantity Surveyor and worked within a team of senior Quantity Surveyors and a Commercial Manager. My roles consisted of preparing invitation to tender documents, issuing RFQ's for tendering and analysing returns, assisting with document checks and drawing measures.

I have learned a lot about the construction industry, increasing my technical knowledge and learning from experienced professionals. I have also developed my soft skills through collaborating in a team environment.
