Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
2 week vacation scheme at the firm. During this time we sat in 2 different seats which were chosen by each student.
Day to day tasks varied per seat but students were expected to complete tasks for supervisors/buddies, undertake research and voluntarily speak with colleagues across the firm to learn more about the role and the firm itself.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
Very good.
We had daily talks from different departments and also from business development teams to understand their role within the firm as a business.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
Definitely. I learnt how to undertake legal research and write it out in a concise and understandable way as my research was sent directly out to clients.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The firm’s culture is one of the things that attracted me to apply for the scheme and it was as expected. The culture is what makes TW stand out and I cannot express how friendly and approachable everyone was.
