Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
My time was mostly split between site work and office work. Site work was made up of shadowing staff on a range of projects that included ground investigations, groundwater and gas monitoring. Office work included learning what different types of report look like and other skills.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was given much more responsibility than I thought I would which gave me a sense of purpose during my internship which I enjoyed.

I have developed my writing skills from writing mock reports and a wide range of field skills from the wide range of projects I was able to be a part of.

I was surprised by how inclusive and friendly everyone was when I first started which allowed me to settle in quickly.
