Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
The main functions of this role are purchasing, shipping, and stock management for the designLED ( a FORVIA company) research and development site. This includes all office and project purchases.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Due to the designLED site being a small site of around 18 employees means that I was given lots of responsibilities and opportunities during my placement

I was new to operations and logistics and so I feel I learned a lot about how a company operates and what is required to keep projects moving forward.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Many of the employees were very friendly and we would have lunch together frequently and even events outside of work.
Most people commuted to Livingston which made events outside of work challenging.
