Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Planning and conducting of trainings, administrative tasks such as scanning and recording training documents and issuing PI tags, ordering and refilling HSE stock, checking HSE supplies like AEDs and spill kits, conducting ergonomic assessments

Yes, as we were a small department so I was a significant part of the daily operations

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
Due to being such a small department, sometimes it was impossible for the graduate and manager to provide me with the support and guidance I needed, at no fault of their own, it was just we were in such high demand and didn’t have the resources

Company Culture
What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Everyone was very friendly and seemed very ready to help, however there seemed to be a big issue with communication struggles as the main form of communication was emails, but half the time people didn’t have time to read their emails so important information was not communicated across e.g scheduled trainings

I learnt a lot but due to being in such a small department, I was consistently stressed and so didn’t have the chance to properly enjoy my placement
