Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
As an ME student I worked on a variety of tasks, this included using CAD to develop designs to support the Plant’s production areas, communicating with suppliers and collaborating with a diverse range of departments to solve the day to day issues that arise.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, through my placement year I had been trusted with a variety of tasks that had an impact to the running of production in the Plant.

Throughout the year, I have gained industry insights to the manufacturing sector, whilst developing both my engineering skills through CAD and soft skills by working with many departments to solve an array of challenges and problems.
