What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

We had a variety of professionals who came to speak to us from different practice areas: Projects and Energy Transition, Global Markets, Capital Markets, Disputes and Investigations
Talked about the work they do on a day-to-day and their own personal journeys into their careers and opened the floor to such insightful questions and answers

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Everyone was lovely, and treated me as an attendee like I was already a part of the team. Networked with attendees and the professionals and the office was absolutely beautiful

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

I would different apply to both the Vacation Schemes and the Training Contracts at Ashurst in the next attraction season following the amazing experience I had during the insight day.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Ashurst

Definitely research the firm well and align your personal experiences with the company values. If you're shy, try to come out of your shell and initiate conversation with people - do not wait for people to come up to you first. Speak to all people at the firm even if they do not work in the area that you want to pursue, all advice is invaluable
