Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

We gained insights into the firm’s practice areas and trainee experience, including a very informative session on the Projects team. We also participated in a mock case study, working through some of the firm’s work. Throughout the day, we learned more about the firm’s clients, culture, and recent merger.

The day was very informative, and we learned a great deal about the firm’s business development process and how it remains competitive.

Yes, I developed my commercial awareness significantly, as the commercial awareness sessions were particularly valuable. I also learned about a range of trainee tasks, giving me a clearer insight into the typical skills required of trainees.

From the very first moment we started the day, everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming, including the early careers team and the trainees who took us on office tours.

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

I very much enjoyed the event and found it extremely informative overall. Although it was only one day long, I was still able to build meaningful connections with the firm.
