Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I regularly collaborate with multiple stakeholders across Europe and internal departments, contributing to meetings, presenting insights, and supporting issue resolution. I also assist with app lifecycle activities such as testing new features, supporting app releases, managing translations for European markets, and ensuring compliance with regulations such as GDPR and the European Accessibility Act.
In addition, I play an active role in troubleshooting technical issues, supporting dealers via a shared inbox, participating in user acceptance testing (UAT), and contributing to ongoing projects including new car model additions and system improvements. I have taken ownership of key responsibilities, including leading meetings, creating new reporting tools, coordinating cross-functional activities, and supporting go-live releases.
Overall, my role combines data analysis, stakeholder communication, and technical problem-solving to help improve customer experience, increase app adoption, and support Honda’s digital strategy across Europe.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I had the rare opportunity to take on a lot more responsibility when my previous line manager had left and there was a 6month gap in bringing in the replacement.
