General branch operations, serving customers, branch sales, upselling additional products to customers. Lots of admin, communicating with customers - especially insurance customers

Yes they do captaincies with means you are responsible for a specific line of the branch operations every month

A fair amount, the talent development team are very helpful although less so from branch level

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Generally the culture is good however The company can be very tricky as often you feel overworked and sometimes this can effect the general atmosphere especially when you’re working 55+ hours a week

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I enjoy the actual role however this was often hinded by excessive overtime, we would often come in at 7.45am and not leave until 8.30pm so it is very long hours. Outside of this I did very much enjoy training days at head office and me and my team got along well
