Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Got a great insight into how the business is run. Improved my customer service skills daily with meeting different customers of different backgrounds every day. I learned valuable skills in sales from selling additional protections to customers.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was given a lot of responsibility during my internship which added to my experience as it made me feel valued. I was responsible for making sure all cars I gave to customers were clean and safe to drive. I was responsible for putting in correct customer details and driving company cars in a safe manner

My IT skills have improved from using new softwares. Customer service skills have improved daily as well as my ability to work in a team as we work very closely together.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

I received a lot of guidance and support. With several different training days both in person and online, I really gained a good understanding of the business. I was always encouraged to ask questions and I had a buddy for my first few weeks to support me.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

There is a great atmosphere, and all the workers work very close together which I found very enjoyable. There is a very relaxed atmosphere and everyone helps each other rather than trying to get ahead. Managers are very approachable also.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I really enjoyed my internship and learned valuable skills which I will carry forward with me. I looked forward to coming to work as my colleagues were friendly and made me feel appreciated. I enjoyed how every day was slightly different and I met all different kinds of customers.
