Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Planning, organising and delivering a wide range of corporate events, including employee meetings/conferences, internal networking events with B2B customers, trade shows, and attendance at other industry events.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Loads of responsibility. I was responsible for the delivery of almost 50 events throughout the year, ranging from doing the admin work from smaller events, to fully planning a charity football match with over 250 people in attendance, and raising £150k for charity.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
I am in regular contact with my manager and she is always available to answer questions. I have a 1 to 1 meeting with my manager every week (or couple of weeks during busy periods).
I had a structured 2 week training programme at the start of my placement.
They have a great training programme throughout the year, helping with softer skills, to support us for the rest of our careers.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Everyone is very friendly, easy to talk to and find. Top leaders in the company are very approachable and easy to meet. General feel of work hard and play hard.

Go and apply. It is a great company, where you can progress into so many different roles. Once you are in the company, they really look after you and you have the ability to have a full and successful career in the company.
