CGI has a great culture and solid frameworks. It has exposed me to a lot of different business areas, ways of thinking and doing and pushed me out of my comfort zone to grow.

What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?

The roles are completely determined by your own interests, as its consulting, I get to choose what I want to do and how I want my career to grow. The main responsibility has been software engineering as that is the need in my business area but I do also enjoy the process all the way from gathering to delivering on requirements to businesses we consult for.

To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

5/5
CGI operates off agile delivery models which allow engineers such as myself to contribute in a way that is meaningful, allows me to learn and is also valued by the team by following SCRUM methodologies. As far as I am aware this is relatively widespread.
