How is the support you receive?

Buddy's, Line manager's and mentor's all provided invaluable guidance throughout my onboarding process through to where I am now 2 years later. They helped me learn from them and other's in the team to aid my development throughout the early careers program enabling me to progress quickly. I have regular catchups with my mentor's where I am able to ask questions and plan for future career trajectory and how to get there

Why?
I think CGI is a great place to start your career as a software engineer. Lots of exposure to the latest tech and the autonomy to take an idea and run with it. Having the client facing responsibility gives me a valuable set of soft skills that a purely technical role wouldn't provide and will pay dividends throughout my future career. I have been trusted and given responsibility to take on leadership roles in projects I have worked on which has accelerated my progression and development

Practice presentation and group working skills, you will be asked to help present a presentation you have developed with your group during the assessment day
