Overall, how would you describe your experience at CGI?
It's a lovely environment. Especially for Early Careers there are a lot of support you can get with career direction and progression. Salary is also a pretty good as a starter as a grad.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
Project management and project support work, building subject matter expertise in more than one area contributing to project team success and smooth operations of project(s).

Why?
CGI is good if your unsure of the exact industry that you would want to work in. As it's a consulting company so it offers you the option to get onto projects in various industries and people there are also very supportive in whichever career path you choose to go into.
How well did the role match your expectations based on the recruitment process?
5/5
It actually exceeded it. Process wasn't stressful compared to some other grad schemes where you have to go through like 5 or 6 stages before hearing the outcome.
When considering the recruitment & onboarding process, have you any specific tips or advice you would give to others applying to CGI?
Be yourself, don't be afraid to ask any questions. Regarding onboarding, ensure you have all the necessary credentials ready when onboarding to projects especially those projects that require a minimum of SC. This is because it can take long before SC confirmation of clearance comes through, so the earlier you send over the onboarding info that you are required the send, the better so the relevant team(s) can get processing your SC as soon as possible.
