Brand Management Intern Review

My role is highly project based - I assist on current and future projects meaning my day-to-day work is highly varied. I liaise with development regarding new hotel signings in order to provide legal documentation for the properties to operate. I assist in the production of materials to inform and educate stakeholders about Hilton's brands, in hopes to sign more hotel deals with owners and excited people about the brands. I also have routine administrative tasks such as processing invoices, making itineraries, producing monthly data reports, competitor analyses, brand standards.

Yes - I was assigned a few solo projects throughout my internship whereby I had to manage my own deadlines and workload to ensure criteria were met. I was also encouraged to contribute my ideas and feedback to calls, meaning that my opinion was considered.

I received support and guidance from my team when required. I felt as though there was always someone who I could reach out to when I needed help, and even if they couldn't directly help me, they would put me in contact with someone who could. Everyone at Hilton is always willing to help and want to ensure - especially as an intern - that you are able to achieve your maximum potential.

A friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Everyone wants to make you feel at home regardless of your seniority or age. There is always stuff to get involved in at the office, and the company treat their employees extremely well.

I really enjoyed my placement. It has exceeded my already high expectations and I feel that it has provided me with a good groundwork for going into future roles, and for my final year of study at university. It has been great to socialise with all the other interns, and employees, and take part in so many opportunities.
