Management Trainee Review

I am a management trainee; however, I have a part in other sides of the business such as sales, customer service, HR, risk and vehicle operations. Throughout the day I serve retail customers, and deliver and collect cars that have been with corporate customers, and deal with replacement customers who are in need of courtesy vehicles. I have captaincies in BCAM and Risk so I have tasks to fulfil for those, such as updating BOSS365 and sending out weekly emails on compliance dash.

I would say a good amount, I haven't been treated any differently to other members of the staff I would say it's been quite equal. I have been given the chance to run the day quite often as well which allows me to work on management skills, as well as time keeping, organisation, flexibility and teamwork.

Developed existing skills. Before I started this placement I probably thought I had good flexibility, time keeping, organisation etc, but this job has really challenged me and allowed me to put knowledge I had learned into practice.

Lots of support, from other trainees, assistant managers, branch managers, area managers and even group rental managers. There's a really friendly company culture that focuses on equality rather than treating people based on their place in the hierarchy.

Really good, everyone gets along just like friends, and it makes the job easier.
